In 2013, I was playing League of Legends with my crew. We've been playing games together since high school, and League of Legends has been our go-to game for the last four years. During an evening of gaming, I happened to see that the "My Team Contest" was concluding in two days, and I jokingly mentioned that we should enter.
The following morning, I woke up convinced I could produce a 2-minute video within 48 hours. I designed a story board and emailed my team instructions on what they needed to capture. During my lunch break and following work, I went around community video recording myself in public. By the next day, I had received all the videos, and once I was off the clock and at my house, I was deep into video editing. I recall submitting my video around 11:50 PST.
The two-day video production paid off, as we received enough community votes to be considered a finalist.
The Teton video was first hiking montage in which I great deal of time syncing music to the actions. It's a tedious process, but I was fairly proud of the outcome.
While I had dabbled in video editing prior to this project, Mount Holy Cross was my first real attempt to create my own video. Created in 2010, I have learn a lot more since this project, but it'll always a significant achievement for me.
I was tasked in 2013 to produce a video montage featuring the veterans programs unique to the Congressional office. Using footage I had collected throughout the years, a CSPAN Ronald Reagan speech, and Photoshop graphic, I was able to successfully create We Are Americans.
One interesting fact - the footage of the flag waving in the beginning is original video. I had to law on the ground to capture it (wearing a suit none-the-less).

Using video from a recent baseball game, I stated playing around with gif and HD HTML5 animations. Fun Stuff.
I've made a number of gifs in the past using Photoshop to create animation, but I'm really into the higher res quality with HTML5.
